Hey all, back again to talk about today.

Today I went out to watch the movie, 'A Christmas Carol' with God and two sisters, Joyce and Gene. I was really happy and honored to have their company to watch this movie. Not to mention that the shopping centre was filled with beautiful decorations and Christmas carols that just sings about the birth of our LORD and God Jesus Christ, which just makes me so happy.

Therefore its triple joy =D.

Well, I really feel that I can hear God more when I am not at home, because my focus is not on the walls of my room but fellowshipping with God and His people. That aside, let's talk about what I learn today.

Since some of you may not have watch the movie, I will try not to spoil it. Anyway, this movie talks about the festive season of giving during Christmas. There is this man named Scoorge who doesn't like to give. He was greatly feared and detested by people. However, there was one night, when everything happened to him that changed him. This made me felt glad. It just brings me great joy to see the change in one.

I think I have talked about this before, but what is Christmas anyway? Christmas is the celebrating of the birth of Jesus Christ, the promised saviour of the world. Ever thought of why people exchange presents during Christmas? This is what I have deduced from the scriptures :

Matthew 10:8
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leoprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

On this really joyous day, God have sent His one and only begotten Son unto the world, not to condemn the world, but to save the world from the power and curse of sin; this was so that we could all we were meant to be in the beginning.

John 3:16-17
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him."

On this very day, God gave His everything(His son Jesus) and place Him in this world of sin, for the greatest purpose of suffering and dying for the sins of mankind, that man could receive reconcilation with their creator, abba father, the LORD their GOD almighty, and receive salvation.

So as the almighty displayed His great generosity of giving on this everyday, so should the children of God, practise giving, just as the LORD our God have given us. Upon giving, always keep in mind on how much God have given us.

I like the way the New Century Version depicts it:

Matthew 5:45
If you do this, you will be true children of your father in heaven. He causes the sun to rise on good people and on evil people, and He sends rain to those who do right and to those who do wrong.

In context, it is talking about loving your enemies just as you Father in Heaven does, however, think it this way, do what your Father in Heaven, for this is what He wants you to do. God always demostrates what He wants His childrens to do. For example, God rested on the 7th day after creating the heavens and the earth, but then it is also written, God need not slumber, neither does He need rest, so why did He rest anyway?

He did this for our benefit, to teach us to rest, to set aside time on a day to honor Him.

Jehovah Jireh, God the provider

So anyway, look at the scoorge. I am in no position to judge him really. He had His reasons =) ( you gotta watch the movie yourself) but I only know of one thing, money won't destroy him, the love of money does. Thank God in the end he changed =)

The over obsession of the things of the world is like a child playing with a hammer, they need to be warned. They may not see the danger of it then but there will come a time where the hammer lands on his or her own hand.

Matthew 6:24
No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money at the same time.

In this case, 'money' can be subsituted with ''things of the world' to get a better understanding.

A stingy life often leads to a bitter life, because we are overly concerned of our own needs and advantage that we forgo the needs of others.

=) Its late at night. I thank God that I manage to finish it today. well, I hope you people learned something out of this =DD HALLELUJAH!!!

Really praise God for everything He is and all He has done for me. He is a good God, Amen.

Very well, people, God bless you and see you soon =)

How life should be like... / God's great love and compassion
Friday, November 27, 2009

Hey people, here I am, finally reviving my blog despite severe failed attempts. So here I am, to share with you my message of how life should be like and about God's great love and compassion.

Our life.... should be like, a bicycle.
and I really do mean THAT bicycle, the one with two wheels and a seat.
Now why do I say that?

This is what I feel a human should have like a bicycle do:

1) A Seat, for people to rest on
2) Handles, for God the steer our lives to one that is pleasing to Him.
3) Brakes, for God to stop you and you are acting too rashly are running faster than you should.
4) Wheels to keep pressing and moving on towards the path righteousness for God's name sake.
5) Pedals, for God to give you a push to your life, and giving it momentum to keep on going.
6) A metal bicycle frame, a manifestation of the hardness of discipline and truth, the softness of love, grace and mercy, as well as being lustrous, to catch the attention of many and to fix their eyes on God. (Metals are hard, strong but yet ductile and malleable. They are shiny and eye catching)
7) A stand, for your own rest.
8) Used as it is created for, to worship and fellowship with the LORD their God.

Bicycles do not steer their motions themselves, they rely on their cyclist to reach their maximum potential. They are useful, to bring joy as a tool for leisure and help as a form of transport.

At the end of the day, when all things are done, the cyclist cleans the bicycle to its greatest glory and secures it right by his side, not allowing the bicycle to be snatched away by the evil people.

Just as our lives should be like a bicycle, so does our life's journey resembles a cycling journey.

It should be in motion, for a greater purpose.
Stop when you need to for your safety, especially when God press on the brakes.
when there is a slope before you (troubles and trials) be brave and continue to pedal hard because for every up slope there will be a down slope, where life is really easy. If the slope is too steep, get of the bicycle and walk slowly up the slope, dont rush through it; there is no point rushing through it, you might get a bad fall. It is the same for down slopes. It is true that life can get really easy, but don't get complacent, brake often to ensure your own safety and do what your good cyclist wants, He have a plan to prosper you, not to harm you, He loves you, not hate you; He loves you so much He gave His only son to save you.

You know, as Christians, we always talk about, God is loving, God is kind and merciful, but often people just stumbles upon it, saying, 'How true is that? well, if God loves me so much why don't He give me a playstation portable? Or maybe a girlfriend/boyfriend?' Well let me just share with you about today, and probably you get the idea of what God have done.

Alright, as I have mentioned previous, I went on a bicycle ride today. Many significant things happened ( like things that led me to my revelation on bicycles), but I am just going to point to you two of this events.

As I had my lunch at Kou Fu at Woodlands Mart and was riding towards my next destination, I saw a dog. Looked rather dirty, skinny and broken; but cute. So I thought I had gave it a pat, but this came to me, 'Its a stray dog, you probably gonna dirty your hands and then later dirty your bike because you TOUCHED it.' so I rode off, but after a while, God gave me the spirit of compassion and made me turn back and want to pat it ( and I was totally glad to do it ). As I walked towards the dog, it began to walk away from me. Then a child came and tried to scare the dog, and the dog continued walking. Then as I approached, it ran. The finally I slowed down before it and stroked its head. The dog looked comforted. Then I went on my way again.

Later on, as I cycled past Republic Polytechnic, I saw many twigs on the ground that proved to be good fertiliser for the ground. I first Ignored them, but later, I start to kick them to the soil area. However, at that point of time, I saw something, dustbins that have fell on the ground(probably because of the wind). I thought, well, if the dustbin was on the floor, it can't function as it should be already, how do people dump rubbish in if it is horizontally lying on the ground?
So I headed back, after fighting over the thought that it will also dirty my hands again, which I will dirty my bike =(. Well, as expected, the dustbins are, dirty? Haha, it got to be dirty. so I started picking them one up by one. Then I saw a bunch of juveniles walking towards me and kicking one of the dustbins lightly. When I finished picking all the dustbins up, I saw then walking away, but one of them almost wanted to kick the dustbin I just picked up.

So I cycled home dirtying my bike's handles. Then this thought come to me, 'Are you like Jesus, who like to pick up dirty stuffs(us sinners) so much?' I hesitated and thought back, 'Yeah, I got to be and I want to be.'

Well, can I just ask a question to all of us here, I am not excluded. Did anyone did nothing wrong at all in your enitre life? Well, I didn't, I believe no man did. If we did not live a life that is perfect, we are just like the dog, these dustbin. Jesus was pure and holy, but to save us, to comfort us, He came. We saw Him, and ran away from Him; that was because we didn't knew who He was and how He is like. After all, the world have often come to scare us, and to hurt us and so we thought, there is nothing so good in this world, such as, a king, the creator of the world came to die for us. We are dirty, broken and suffering from spiritual malnutrition. However, Jesus, He who knew no sin, but all for love sake, did everything out of compassion; He became sin, the dirty and evil sin, and died on the cross for of iniquity, so that we might receive reconcilation with God,The Father and enjoy everlasting life.

How about the dustbin?
Jesus, came in power, saved us from our dirty sins; picked us up to be all we were meant to be(to do), to have a relationship with God.

Which innocent bystander liked to pick up filthy dustbins?
So how would the Creator of the world liked dying so terribly? He didn't like it, but He loved us so much, HE WAS WILLING TO DO IT.

You know why I got to be like Jesus and pick up dirty stuffs? I am not talking about things that are dirty on the floor, I am talking about helping brothers and sisters in which I might not even be so comfortable with, it is because I AM NOT PERFECT TOO! I am, too a sinner saved by grace! I am not greater than anyone else. Also if Jesus, the perfect One, my Master, my Brother, my King, my Saviour, my God and my LORD did it, I have every reason to do it also. I should and I can and I will, with the help of Jesus. I want to be compassionate and loving, like Him.

Indeed, I want to be like Him.....

Well this is the end of my message today, I thank God for this really great message today and I hope that it has blessed you as much as it has blessed me. God bless you =)

The kingdom, is near.....
Friday, August 21, 2009

Hey all, how are you guys doing? It is now the halfway mark through the Preliminary examinations and the end of most common test. I have heard lots of groanings lately regarding the exams, it's true, some a really killer papers(I shall not name the papers =D) but anyway, I am here, to tell you about the Word.

In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the earth; all things were made good, and all were pleasing to God. Streams came up from the earth, watering the land. The LORD God then formed a man out of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, giving the man life and making him a living creature. The LORD then planted a garden in the east, in Eden. The garden was beautiful, with four rivers flowing out from the North, South, East and west of the Garden of Eden. In the garden were trees bearing fruits that were pleasing to the eye and for food; and in the middle stood the tree bearing the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." The LORD then made all the animals in the world, the ones on land, and the ones in the sky. He let the man rule over all of them, and name them. However, The man, Adam found none suitable for him as a partner, and so the Lord made Adam fall into a very deep sleep and took out a rib bone from Adam, made a woman and brought her to Adam. Adam was satisfied and said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman' for she was taken out of man."

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

However, One day as Eve was in the garden, the devil took the shape of a serpent and tempted her to eat the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. She ate and gave her husband some of it as well. Adam ate it. They realised that they were actually naked and were ashamed, so they hid themselves away from God. This was the first sin and the beginning of the fall of man.

The punishment for sin against God, was death. God said it very clearly,'when you eat of it you will surely die.'

Later in the years, man continued to sin against God; all the descendants of Adam had the seed of sin in them, all are guilty of sinning against God and justice had to be served. God is a righteous, just and holy God. If so, a fair judgement was to sentence all man to death and hell eternally. However, God is also a loving God. He did not want to sentence all man to hell. But justice had to be served. A loving judge pass the sentence that is righteous and the vile must be sentence guilty, he must not say, ' For I am a loving judge, I pardon you.' If so, the judge would have done something even worse than the guilty. Between man and God, one of the two parties have to intervene. So, to serve this justice for God, God being a kind and loving God, gave the solution; and the solution is to have His one and only begotten son, Jesus Christ,to die for us.

Jesus came down as a man, and also God at the same time. He was with God when they made the heaven and the earth together. He came down, not as a king's son, but as a poor carpenter's son. Even though He was God, he humbled himself before man and God. He came to preach about the ways God wanted and was the very model for the very nature and attribute of God. He was tempted in every way man was and kept Himself Holy, righteous and pleasing before God. He was innocent, but was percecuted made a curse among human, among His own creations. He was afraid, not because He is going to be crucified and hurt, the king of glory is certainly not afraid of death; He was afraid of the wrath of God. Despite His fear, all for love, he prayed that let His father have His way. Eventually, He was betrayed by His own disciple, and was scourged, forced to wear a crown of thorns, and eventually crucified on the cross at Calvary. Right over there, He drank the cup, of God's wrath, for every human race; not even one drop of it was left. As He finishes it, Jesus cried out, ' IT'S FINISHED!' No one on Earth owns their own lives, they all belong to God. That was the reason why God say, 'No one can ever take my life away from me, but I chose to lay my life down, as a ransom for the lives of many.' God laid His life down, and was risen after three days; and now, He lives in us. Jesus is also highly exalted by God, that now, in the name of Jesus, all things could be done, and one's joy will be complete.

God is not the God of the dead, but God of the living.

As this was done, anyone who accepts the teachings of Jesus, and accepts Him into his or her life, and be changed by the Holy Spirit, allows his sins to be paid through Him, and gains salvation, to reunite with God, who is seated on the Holy throne in the kingdom of Heaven.. Also, Salvation in Hebew also includes the welfare of our health, food etc.

'The kingdom of Heaven, is at hand'

He who has ears, let him hear. Wherever we are, whenever it is, He sees you. He saw you and me, before we were even born, and died for our sins. He took care of me, for 15 years, even though I was against everything He did and taught. I did not choose Him, but He, who is merciful and righteous, chose me, and led me out from my ordeal. He looked after everyone of us even though we are against Him. He rose the Sun for us, He rained for us, He gave us gifts, talents, although we deserved death.

I said no to Him before.... He said, ' Come to me, child, ' I refused. Mountains and the seas trembled before Him, and as He said, stay here, I don't want the sea to cross this point. The sea listened. But I, who is SUCH A WRETCHED MAN SAID NO TO HIM! Guess what, He lovingly drew me back to Him. I am so glad to be with Him now. Even if I am going to crawl, I am going to crawl my way back to Him. For He alone is worthy, and is my purpose in life

I truly hope, the power of the Gospel is going to come and fall on every single one of us, and God, will appear, so real to us, thought we can't see Him.

And so, this is my message, and thank you for listening to me =) Have a blessed weekend

True Joy
Sunday, August 16, 2009

True joy, i not found in the place of happiness and gladness but in the place of happiness and gladness but in sorrow and pain.

Nehemiah 8 : 10

The joy of the Lord is my strength.

Be strong for the holy one, for He is faithful.
Say, 'Seek the kingdom, and all will be added unto you.'
Always, we look around and see what God can do for us, but why don't we try to see what we can do for God?

As such, things will be going tougher, but please stay strong, for the kingdom is already at hand, and is coming; There is so much that is not done.
He shall be your comfortor, the author and completor for this joy. For He have come so humbly, with grace and love, despite for our bitterness.

'Come and I will give you rest,'

'blessed are those who are weak in spirit, for you will be made whole'

'blessed are those who are hungry, for the will be filled'

'blessed are those who are meek, for they will inherit the earth'

'blessed are those who are percecuted for what is right for they shall see God.'

All that you might see is bad, might just be a blessing. My warmest regards to all of my friends, may you all be blessed always

Jesus.... Beautiful saviour
Monday, July 27, 2009

Hey all, I have received a message from God and I just want to share with all of you

When I was bathing, something just struck my mind - Jesus, the centre of my life.
God have already shown us lots of his will for us. He is like the nucleus of an atom, then weight of our life, the anchor that prevents us from flying around. He is the Sun, the centre of all being, source of life of all things, Amen, let this be so. When He is in the centre, all things orbit around Him normally and good, as beautiful as ever possible.

He washed our feet when we are not worthy, He said, ' Just as the son of man did not come down to be served but to pay His life as a ransom for many.' HE washed our feets, with HIS BLOOD. All He wanted, is our love, all He wanted is us to get closer to him, all He wanted is us, the withered and broken rose. Beautiful saviour, so beautiful, Jesus.

WIth love, Emmanuel

A short post
Sunday, July 26, 2009

Hey all, how are you all doing.
I am really really really busy nowadays, but I am praying, that all of you will be well in health, that the flu bug will not take you down.
Here I am, I just want to make a short comment

'Children are truely the greatest gift. As it is also said : 'Blessed are those who humble themselves like these children''

Short sentence could also have big impacts. We can be strong, wilful, rebellious, but how hard is it to humble ourselves as children? the ones who are every amazed at the things in the world, ever so innocent.

well, and that is all I have to say, see ya =DD
